This is painted with oils. Right now i'm just practicing painting the human anatomy. Trying to work up the guts to paint a portrait.

Weaver and Captain Hook

I know this isn't painting related but I wanted to share my experience with you. Here are some pics from an awesome show I saw last night. My good friend Weaver (lead guitar and vocals) has put his first solo album out called Transfer. He is starting a new project called Captain Hook. These guys ROCK! Jen B. (Vocals) is one of the best singers I've ever heard. Her voice reminds me of Janis Joplin. These guys are a must see live they put on a great show. Gateway to the soul

I think this is one of my favorites. I've always loved drawing eyes, it's what brings your art to life. This is another small painting 10in x 10in.

I was in the middle of trying to put a picture in for my profile. I don't have a url to grab this picture from so I had to post the pic first and copy it to my profile. While I was doing so I got a nice comment. I didn't want to leave my profile picture in this post and I didn't want to delete this comment. So wrote this to explain why there is no picture here. Anyway thanks for this comment.

Muddy Elephant

Today was the perfect day to paint. It's raining outside so I don't have to worry about missing out on a nice day. It was great to have some time to myself to paint two paintings in one day.

Great White

This is a small painting on a 7in x 5in canvas. I tried a different style out just to challenge myself and see if I could do it. I'm going to have to take a better picture, this one is a little blurry and you can't see much detail.
